Returnil is a virtualization program that allows you to be as reckless as you want while surfing the net, installing programs, toolbars and any other action that could possibly infect your computer. When your done acting irresponsible simply reboot and every action you performed will be obliterated, forever cast into the ethernet of nothingness.
It works flawlessly and doesn't affect your computers performance. I played games, surfed the net, copied and wrote text and downloaded applications with out a hitch. When I had finished I restarted my computer and it was in the same state as when I started. This is great if you let friends or relatives use your computer or if young children decide to play "happy keys".
One thing to keep in mind is its easy to forget its on. I can attest to that fact, after having written a post for my website only to find it dissappeared after I rebooted.If you want to transfer files from the virtual partition to your physical hard drive you will have to get the paid version as the free version doesn't have this capability.
